This anchor tent peg has been in use in the tenting and safari industry as well as the Defense Force through-out Africa and specifically Southern Africa since the 1960’s and has been proven over the years for its durability, flexibility and strength. The tempering process is a key component to its success as is the spring steel which makes it unique and durable. The unusual shape adds to its strength and flexibility whilst also negating the use of additional springs as is common in Australian traditional style tent pegs. If used correctly, it lies flat on the ground and there is less trip or injury hazard, which is an additional bonus
There are 6 different sizes / weights available from backpacking 150mm x 3mm through to 450mm x 8mm which are widely used by the military and safari industry where larger and heavier canvass is used.
